Yeongnangho Lake surrounded by Seoraksan Mountain is beautiful anytime of the year, but it is absolutely dazzling in spring as cherry blossoms along the lake color the water powder pink. 8km-long bike trails along the lake have been selected as one of the “100 Most Beautiful Bike Trails” in Korea, as it offers a great view, including Beombawi Rock (one of the Eight Sights of Sokcho), Yeongnangjeong Pavilion, and Ulsanbawi Rock.

Why don’t you play something that only the localshave enjoyed? Located on Yeongnangho Lake, Bogwang Mini Golf Course is the only place you can play mini golf in Korea. It is run by the second generation and keeps its original shape except that it now has 17 holes instead of nine holes when the course first opened in 1963. Playing this fun game at this golf course that has a retro feel will make your trip to Sokcho even more special.
